Hearts Across the World.

Dolat abad, in Yazd, Iran, the center of Zoroastrian culture.
Mohammad Reza Domiri Ganji generously shares scores of these images.

I pay enough attention to the news of the world to be a responsible citizen, but my heart is inexorably drawn to deeper and longer truths, beyond simple facts as they are presented.

Today in short order I read about protests against Muslims in Dresden, Germany, then discover the works of a 23-year-old young man in Iran who is archiving photographs of mosques. The Middle East is in our consciousness these days, but how much do we truly know about these fellow passengers on spaceship Earth?
