Tucker Smith: The Great Northern.

Once again the human element magnifies the majesty of the earth.

This one I discovered in an email advertisement for prints. I love the work but have no idea in the world where I would hang a canvas print that would do it justice. (It comes in sizes up to eight feet width, which I'm sure is glorious.)

Living in the high country myself I can vouch for the spirit of the mountains and forests and skies Mr Smith has captured. A little research reveals him as living in the valley east of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, at the foot of the Wind River Range, north of Pinedale. He clearly knows the American West.
